Train Day!

w/Rob Fair 6-8:04pm 2 hrs.

(with 4 minutes overtime at time and a half)

Here's what we did...

Rob is running the Unit Coal Train EB from PRB
to the Melrose Park Power Plant (MPPP)

After 11.5 laps, Rob arrives at the MPPP Yard

Rob uses the road power and pushes his train back
into the 5 tracks used at the MPPP yard

He also sets out the 4 extra loads on the Transfer Track

After finishing putting away the unit coal train it's
time to collect the cars in the Industrial Park

He's pulling out all four cars and will set them on
the Transfer Track with the 4 extra full coal cars.

Tomorrow I will take the Transfer Train and 

move the consist to the West Chicago (WeGo) Yard

before the final destination at Proviso Yard

Moving the Transfer Train to WeGo Yard

The Transfer Train leaves the Transfer Track for
WeGo Yard

Passing Geneva Station and Global 1

Arriving WeGo Yard Track 1

The Transfer Train at WeGo Yard Track 1

Returning light power back to MPPP

That'll do!

I was quite surprised that only took 12 minutes.
I'll mark it down for .25 hrs.

Moving Transfer Train cars from WeGo Yard to Proviso

Using GP15-1 switcher to switch cars around...

...one set goes to Proviso east yard (CNW).

The other set of cars will go to Proviso west yard (UP).
