Back from vacation...
...time to get working again on the RR.

| Tonight I will begin getting Switch #2 in the Industrial Park working. |

| Connecting the three wires from the switch to the controller. |

| It's not perfect, yet, but getting closer. |

Game night!
Jan and I went to NIU (Northern Illinois University) tonight in DeKalb
to watch Kaneland boys basketball defeat Morton for a chance to go
down state to represent Kaneland High School in the IHSA Boys 3A Basketball tournament

And then back to work on the RR...
![]() |
| I thought spraying some WD40 on Switch #2 would give it some lubrication to move better. |
![]() |
| We'll have to wait and see if this works...or not. |
![]() |
| After messing with Switch #2 I moved on to Switch #3. |
![]() |
| I attached wires to the switch and to the controller. Since my two sets of wires weren't long enough to reach their destinations, tomorrow I'll connect them together under the table. |
![]() |
| Tomorrow I should have all three switches in working order. Let's hope anyway! |
![]() |
| My work area - every project seems to end up looking this way - a complete mess! |
![]() |
| I'm going to record .75 as my time working on the RR tonight. |

Adding more wiring for switches and controllers...
![]() |
| You can see that three of the six controllers are wired |

| Switch #1 |
![]() |
| Switch #2 |
![]() |
| Switch #3 |
![]() |
| Working on Switch #4 |
![]() |
| That took about 30 minutes. I had to go upstairs for 7 minutes so I won't count the entire 37 minutes. |

Continued work on Switch & Controller #4
![]() |
| With interrupted phone calls I'm calling it 1 hour for tonight |
![]() |
| Finished wiring up #4 and starting #5. I still need to tweak #4 switch for proper placement and better performance. Hopefully tomorrow. |
![]() |
| #4 all wired up and ready for adjustments for better performance results. |
