Train Day!

| Pulling out CNW GP9 #1518 to run the Piggy-back train to the Workbench Tracks. |

| Arrived at our destination. |

| Rob is going to overhaul all the piggy-back 85' cars. |
 |
| I'll work on the semi-trailers. |
 |
| The visiting mouse chewed off the support, so I jury-rigged this one into place. |
 |

| Rob is figuring out how these pieces fit together. |

| This is the Train Cars in Consist manifest. |

| So far so good on progress. Rob did three piggy-back cars tonight. |
He taught me how it works so now I'll attempt to finish the rest of the job this week.

| I'm going to put all the Piggy-back cars through inspection this week. |
 |
| First car finished. Here's the paperwork for car inspections. |
 |
| Here's the tray for the piggy-back cars. |

| I stopped by B&G Train World today to pick up the parts Liz ordered for me to finish the wall on Clinton Street Chicago Terminal. |

| But first, I had to cut, trim, and sand all the knobs. That took about 30 minutes. UGH! |

Mom's funeral today at 1pm.

| Hopefully I will finish installing the metal wheel sets on each piggy-back car today. |
 |
| Also completing inspection sheets for each car. |
 |
| As I finish each section of three cars I put them back on track to prepare them for Global 2 final storage. |
 |
| I removed 3 cars from track 1. Now I'm removing 3 cars from track 2. |
 |
| I'm laying out the wall sections I picked up at B&G Train World yesterday to see how they fit together. |
 |
| Back to the Piggy-back cars. Replacing plastic wheels sets with metal wheel sets. |
 |
| Before putting all the cars back into Global 1, I will vacuum all the mouse turds off plus clean up where they left bedding material too. Really? |
 |
| Time to put the piggy-back cars back into Global 2. |
 |
| Nice! Mission Accomplished! |

What's ON Track this Week? Running Commuter Train 1C Elevated Track and into Chicago Terminal Track 3. Also Piggy-Back Work Train to Workbench Inspection and then Piggy-back Train 2C on the mainline heading back to Global 2.
