Preparing paperwork to change out the Train Order Board

Look what came in the mail today...

My final commuter car which completes the fleet.

Train Day!

w/Rob Fair 6-8pm 2 hrs.

Jordan Osborn 6:15-7:15pm 1 hr.

Marcus Thorsen 6:30-6:45pm 15 mins.

Here's what we accomplished...

Rob jumps right in to remove the current car numbers
and replace them with the correct numbers.

Number 7836 will be replaced with 7631.
This is the final commuter car needed to complete
my commuter car fleet.

Jordan joins us about 6:15pm. Making his appearance
and reserved spot at Central Control Tower.

Marcus comes and we talk about the next project:

Later tonight...

I finished adding the new number to the coach car.

After adding the grab irons I added the final car
to Commuter Train 1E.

All five commuter trains are now fully equipped and
ready for operations. I'm still testing each train for
proper performance results.

Working on Special Project - Right of Bridge

I'm making this permanent by using my glue gun
and putting all the parts in place.

Adding the road.

Glue that in place too.

Working on Special Project - Left of Bridge

First I start with a pattern.

Cut out the foam board using the pattern.
And then cut some ramps.

Glue in all the pieces and check the road for proper
location.

I need to add a little border in front of the roadway
ramp.

How's that look?

How long did that take?

About 75 minutes.

Finishing up some car inspections...

2-bay hopper car from Train 5C
changed out plastic wheelsets
to metal, but train wouldn't run.
UGH!

Tested these two cars from Train 5A
and tried to run train but it wouldn't
run either. One of these cars I 
switched out the plastic wheelsets
for metal wheelsets.
