Train Day!

We will start off tonight's session at Marcus Thorsen's home...

He will be teaching us how to use foam for scenery.

Our opening scene. Mark made one section and has

What a collection!

Marcus's basement is like a museum. I kept saying,
"Wow!"

Marcus is a true collector, plus he's very organized!

Worked about 1 hour tonight on the grade crossing

Laying out the pieces and trimming them to fit.

This section to the facia is now complete.
Next step is to glue this section in place.

Before I glue this section down, I need to finish the 
section that covers the track. Getting there...

More work on the grade crossing at Wheaton/Bellwood stations...

All the pieces are in place. Now I need to glue them down.

I think I'll start at the far side apron.

And finish today on the near side apron.

How everything looks after the glue has set.

A little more work on the grade crossings...

Now for the middle sections.

Sections in place and glue is setting.

All finished.
Now we wait for the glue to set overnight.
