Train Day!
w/Rob Fair 6-8pm 2 hours
Jordan Osborn 6:15-7:15pm 1 hr.

Peace out! Let's get started!

Tucking in the wires and taping down the lights
for a test run to see where the lights end up.

Another view.

Once we put the shell back on we tested the lights
and found they needed to be set up higher into the
shell.

We also wanted to add the fireman to the other side
of the locomotive. Here Rob is filing down the
frame where we'll use glue to keep him in place.

Here's our solution to raising the lights up a bit
so they will shine into the headlights (this picture)...

...and the rear lights (this picture). Both ends had
to be adjusted.

Running Sequence Train 14 the Intermodal with much difficulty

I had problems with the containers tipping over on
the inside curve so I took the top layer off

I ran this train one lap at a very slow speed.
I still need to figure out why the trucks derail at
certain locations. No consistencies yet determined.

I was only going to spend 30 minutes running this
train, but I ended up spending a whole hour having fun.

Finishing up the Intermodal Train Sequence #14

Oops, coming into Global 1 on the wrong track.
Do over...

Here's a look at the other end of that same train.

After pulling train back and forth to put the EOTC
at the proper track. We're back in business.

Moving the train back so we can put the rest of the
cars where they belong...

Tracks 1 & 2 are filled. Now we're moving the next
5 cars into Track 4...

...and finally the last part of the train into Track 5.

There you go. All finished.
Locomotive put away and all the intermodal cars
on Sequence Train #14 all set into place.
