Took some videos for the Weekly Update to be published later this week.

Getting ready for tomorrow's Train Day!

Here's the next big project Marcus will be working on:
Putting in a road between Edman Chapel and adding
a tunnel portal by the bridge.

I just finished up this project with painting and weathering.

Train Day!
with Rob Fair 6-8:15pm 2.25 hrs.
Jordan Osborn 6:15-7:15pm 1 hr.
Marcus Thorsen 6:45-7pm 15 mins.

Lots done...take a look...

Rob Fair started off replacing one of the decals
that slipped down the side of one of the cars.

Jordan at his post at Central Control Tower.
Lots of childhood stories tonight.

My job was to replace all the 33" plastic wheelsets
with 36" metal wheelsets on the well cars.

Here are all the cars all switched
out with new 36" metal wheelsets.

Marcus came down and got right to work.
He had guests at home and still stopped by to make
progress on our next project.

Loaded the containers onto the well cars and getting
ready to send them out on a test run.

Rob moved from the workbench project to replacing all the
33" plastic wheelsets on the coal cars to 36" metal wheelsets.

Lots of problems with the test run. Mainly derailments
along the mainline. I will need to take a closer look
to determine why this is happening. Not acceptable.

I also took some videos of tonight's session.
You will see that action in the Weekly Update posted later in this blog.

One other thing...

I also reinforced the Train Order Board and put
new screws to hang the board as shown below:

There used to be a gap between the boards.
Now they line up nicely top to bottom.

One last look at the busy workbench which saw
a lot of action tonight. Thanks Rob!

Our next new project is a tunnel portal added here...

From the tunnel portal we'll add a street here.

I am also running a WB Unit Coal Train 2A.
This is the SD40-2 #6922 "The Hawk" getting the train
ready for mainline power for the WB trip
