After moving out the commuter train for Monday's Train Day...

Commuter Train 1C ready for WB departure from

I decided it was about time to start working on the CNW Engine Facilities platforms...

Train Day!
w/Rob Fair 6-8pm 2 hrs.
Jordan Osborn 6-7:30pm 1.5 hrs.

Here's what we did...

Rob Fair taking out the EB
Unit Coal Train from Powder
River Basin bound for the
Melrose Park Power Plant

Immediate crossover before
Signal #2 to continue on its
EB journey

Jordan and I run the WB Commuter Train 1C on
the West Line bound for Geneva

Rob has arrived at the Melrose Park Power Plant
and begins to switch the train into the Power Plant yard.

Jordan peers out from under the BNSF cap.

Rob and I take the Commuter Train 1C EB back to
Chicago Terminal.

safe and sound. Some minor glitches along the way
but all in all, not too bad.

Running 1960s Train 3A with Power B3

Running WB passed Geneva

Coming down the heart of 
Proviso Yard

Waiting for next lap at the Lap Counter Location
which is Washington Street in West Chicago.

Later tonight, I started to reconcile these two report.
The top report shows each train run with dates.
The bottom sheets shows who was assigned those runs.

This is how much time I spent
on this project today.

Now I need to update the spreadsheet.

Finished running 1960s Train 3A...

Parking the WB 1960s Train 3A
into PYCNW EB Track 2.

This train will be ready to head EB on its next Train Order Board assignment.


...with Power B3 back in place at the UP Engine Facility.

Also worked on Train Cars in Consist - Conductor Paperwork

and lots of reconciliation in reporting...

And just because I was looking...here's another shot
of the UP Engine Facility. Nice!

In this report you can see how
many Minutes/Hours each locomotive
has run since 2021.

This report shows how many
Minutes/Hours each Engineer
has run on the RR since 2021.

This report shows how recent
Metra locomotives and any Switcher
 was run and what train it was connected.

Same type of report, but this
time it's all the UP locomotives.

Most recent runs for the CNW
locomotives with the trains 
connected to each locomotive.

Here's my reconciliation to the report below (by date)
and this report by locomotive.

I reconciled this report with the
one above to figure out the proper
laps run for each locomotive 
and train connected to that locomotive.

This was a very intense assignment!

When I finished I was off by 3.5 laps.
I looked it up, found the mistake, and had a successful result.

YES!
