Train Day!
w/Rob Fair 6-8pm 2 hrs.

Getting ready to mount the control panel for the
Chicago Terminal dwarf signals.

Drilling the holes for bolts for mounting.

Rob Fair is tightening the nuts to the bolts.

One last turn.

Here's how the control panel looks
mounted on the layout facia.

Rob is securing the Track Labels/lights to the layout.

Counting out 1 minute for the glue to cure.

Nice! Great job, Rob!!!

Hopefully I can get the rest of the dwarf lights working this week.

Here's some progress from tonight...

First the red lights...

Next, the green lights.

Note: There are 5 working green lights, but only 4 working red lights.

UGH! I need to figure out why the red light on Track 4 isn't illuminating.

No train activity today.

I bought a new phone instead and had to visit the AT&T store twice to get it done.

Cleaned up Chicago Terminal and put the plastic protection panel back up.

The two ladies on the right are back in position.
Ask Becca Berg for the story details if interested.

Northwest Line Train 1A has arrived.
Passengers begin their trek into the city.

I finally put myself into the layout.
That's me running after disembarking West Line Train 1C,
Track 1, the first train from the West Line into the city.

Here's a look at the Chicago Terminal arrivals/departures.
Oops, two fellas missed their track as Train 1D departs Track 3.

It's Monday morning and here's another picture of me racing to work.
I passed two gentlemen discussing weekend activities.

The project is officially completed.
I re-installed the plastic protective sheet today.

Just a bit more accomplished on the RR...

Starting to work on the dwarf signal lights at the other
end of the tracks.

Here are the RED lights illuminated.

And, of course, my work area.
Tools of the trade...
