his Excursion Train 4A approach the station.

All plugged in and ready to continue his journey.

Look how intense he is as he takes control of his train.

Meanwhile, Becca, controls the Metra Commuter
Train 1C from the Central Control Tower.

Becca checks out her train on the monitor.

I was so proud of my nieces and nephews!
They did a great job.

We started the operating session but couldn't finish.
They plan to return later in the week to finish the job.

Look what came in the mail today!

It's the traffic signals (4) and controller.

The traffic controller in the middle with the WeHonest
business card and two traffic signals on either side.

I had to go back to the website to print out the instructions.

Testing out the Traffic Controller and signals...

Most of the lights work. It appears one of the yellow
lights is not working. UGH!

Installing traffic lights.

Interesting chain of events...

First step:
Drill out the holes for the traffic signals.
Install straws to use as conduit.

I forgot to figure out the diameter of the traffic signal
base. It turns out it is larger than the long drill I use
for the straw. This caused a major problem.

First, I had to redrill all the holes to make them larger.

I ended up redrilling the hole which I already had
stuffed down the resistors and wires.  As I was
redrilling the hole I also tore up the resistors.
UGH!

Now all the holes are redrilled and ready for another
installation.
