Train Day!
w/Rob Fair & Jordan Osborn
6-8pm 2 hrs.

ALSO!

My monthly video update filmed tonight...

June Layout Update YouTube Video
Length: 00:04:35 min.

Rob Fair working on the GP50 #53 trying to get it to run smoothly and with lights.

It's a very tedious job to get all those wires tucked in and out of the way.

We also worked on the CNW SD40-2 #6928. We got it to run with minimal sound interference.

I've been working really hard to get the operation spreadsheets up and running...

This worksheet shows the beginning steps of switching the commuter coaches/cabs from
Chicago Terminal (CT) to the California Avenue Maintenance Facility (CAMF).

Here are my notes of the movements that need to be made to make it happen.

On the layout this is where the action will take place.
This is Chicago Terminal (CT) and then the next picture is...

This is California Avenue Maintenance Facility (CAMF) where the coaches/cabs will be maintained.

For me to write down the switches that need to be thrown, I needed this track map.

This worksheet is the final product.
Each step written out and well documented for the conductor and engineer
to follow as they go about completing their mission.

Banner night!
I have completed the task of updating all the Train Codes w/corresponding Power Assignments.
Each section is updated. I have a few more worksheets to complete before all the sheets are DONE!

Trip to B&G today...

I spent an additional $3 after the $75 generous Father's Day gift from my very thoughtful children!

Here's the breakdown of the items I purchased.

I also returned item #1 $6.95.
Mike replaced the Fencing package as equal value for $6.90.

When I got home I started putting the second part of the bridge together.

Here it is fully assembled.

Another perspective.
