Train Day!

w/Rob Fair, Josh Jones, & Jordan Osborn

For tonight: "What I wanted to get done got done!"

One of the jobs I wanted to accomplish tonight was to close the gap in the trim work.
Mission Accomplished.

Another job I wanted to accomplish tonight was to put the extension on the City Viaduct above Lake Street.
Rob Fair is applying the Shoe Glue to the ends.

Here's where we'll apply the extensions.

I was surprised we had some, but it turned out they just needed to be tacked down again.

Just need to put in some spacers and connect the tracks together.

I did adjust the Southern Pacific double door box car so the coupler would be a bit higher.
I put in a washer above the trucks to raise the car body which will draw up the coupler height.

Train Day!

Ed Nelson will be our point person to inspect the coupler height of our freight trains this afternoon.
This freight train is a mixed freight led by the CNW "twins".
