Train Day!
w/Jordan Osborn 6:10-7:10pm 1 hr.
Rob Fair 6:15-8:15pm 2 hrs.

Jordan was first on the scene at about 6:10pm

to the Intermodal Train 2B waiting to depart the 
CNW Proviso Yard

After running 5 laps the Intermodal Train 2B backs
into Global 1

Getting ready to run the WB Unit Coal Train 2A Sequence Train #3

Using Switcher UP B40-8 #1803 to pull out the
empty Coal Cars from the Melrose Park Power Plant

Finished the job and putting the locomotive away
on Track 6

Empty Coal Cars making up Unit Coal Train 2A WB
is ready for road power on EB track 2. Once road
power is attached we'll take crossover #4 to WB track 1.

And a look at the end of WB Unit Coal Train 2A
ready for departure, hopefully tomorrow.

Speed matching C40-8 locomotives #8501 & #8526

I used the 3-step approach to speed match these
two locomotives. I changed CV02, 05, & 06. These
control voltage rating at the Start, Mid, and Max.

Main power now attached to Unit Coal Train 2A
WB departure to Powder River Basin

The loco prep took 1.5 hours from start to finish
including speed matching. Mostly all speed matching.
Only 9 minutes to get them out of the CNW Engine Facility
