Train Day!
w/Jordan Osborn 6-7:15pm
Rob was sick today and couldn't make it tonight.
Accomplished what I wanted to get done last week...

| First order of business - run the Unit Coal Train 2A through the crossover onto EB Mainline Track 2. |

| Mission accomplished tonight. 5 laps for WB Mixed Freight 5A Here's the front part of that train... |

| ...the 4 cars I'm dropping off for the Melrose Park Power Plant... |

| ...and finally the rear of the train. The caboose is attached to the red box car at the end. |

| This is the other train I ran tonight at the same time: the Unit Coal Train 2A EB from Powder River Basin Wyoming. |
I don't normally run two trains at once,
but since Jordan was here I decided it was a good time
to run both trains. It worked beautifully!

I'm going to move CNW SD40-2 #6935 to Powder River Basin for
Switching the West Yard.

I worked the Passenger Coach Yard to start off.
Joined Mike to do some work at the Peninsula.
Came back to the Coach Yard to relay the work with
Jim who took over so I could leave after a good day on the railroad.
Look what Christmas present came in the mail today

Moved CNW SD40-2 #6935 to Powder River Basin for switching. I will use this locomotive for switching cars from inbound coal trains to the East Yard and switching cars from the East Yard to the West Yard for the return trip to MPPP. |

Moved 2 loaded coal cars from MPPP to Industrial Park Transfer Track for delivery to Train 5A located at Proviso Yard. |
