Worked a bit on video update and access road to UP Engine Facility

Painted the gauze and Hydrocal. Now it's time
to add the roadbed and make an access road.

Train Day!

w/Rob Fair 6-8pm 2 hrs.

Marcus Thorsen 6:15-6:45pm 30 mins.

Marcus bought this diorama at a garage sale for $20.
The price tag was $200 which would probably be
more of the actual value, probably more. 

Lots of detail which all cost money.

Ladders, people, fences, etc.

See the photographers capturing the momentous
history of this display?

Even Hitler is included as part of this historic depiction.

Back to the basement...

Now figuring out the trim pieces.

The wall along the RR now in place.

Now to the workbench where we find Rob Fair 

hard at work...

Rob got this 2-8-8-2 steam locomotive running.

Another look at the playground. I will purchase
playground equipment this week.

My commuter train IE went out of control.
It finally stalled here and we called it a day.

After my homebound visit with Bernice, Susan Humm
and I stopped by B&G Train World in Elgin IL and
purchased a couple of items.

Working on the RR...

Gluing down the base of the access road to the
UP Engine Facility

Applying the glue...

Spreading the glue...

Adding fine sand.

Later that day...

Cutting out the play areas for the swing set
and the tether ball areas

Finished the last Sequence Train on the Train Order Board

No train activity today.

Fri, May 16, 2025

Preparing the surface for the swing set & the
tether ball play areas.

Added the snubber to the end of the Chicago Terminal
track area where the open ends of the bus lines are located.

Today's tasks took about 30 minutes.
