Trouble shooting Commuter Train 1E took 36 mins.

I ran 2.5 laps EB & WB also fixed track where
Commuter Train 1E 2nd car first trucks derailed.

Preparing the Power for Mixed Freight Train 5D EB

Here are the two parts to Mixed Freight 5D:
Frisco cars will lead the front on track 2
and the CNW Yellow box car will lead the rear on
track 5.

Lots of work done on Clinton St. broken platform

I came to work on the station last night and saw the
station platform at Clinton Street was loose. So I 
inserted some panels under the ties to use as the new
support for the station platform.

I've reattached the south station platform.
I'm pretty sure this will work.

The north platform has a gap between the platform
and the RR ties. I may or may not fix this.

Finally, the exposed blue/yellow wires need to be
painted so this isn't so obvious.

Another shot of the colors. Next picture the colors
will be gone.

You don't even notice the wires now.

I see a little blue next to the roof. Still, not so bad.

I noticed this area needed a panel to cover the glue
joint. However, this panel was too thick.

I removed the panel.

In finding a thinner panel, I walked past some new
"trees" I clipped from a plant outside. Can you ever
have enough trees?

Here's the new thinner panel I used to cover the 
glue joint. Much better.

And, of course, the work area to get this project finished.

Time to run Sequence Train #4 Commuter Train 1A

I got this far and had problems with the locomotive

I decided to remove the locomotive
and take a look inside

First thing I noticed was a staple attached to the motor
UGH!

After troubleshooting and running it back and forth,
with the shell off, I've decided it needs a major overhaul.

I took some videos which I will include one of them in my 

Weekly Layout Update you can view at the end of the week.
