Moving the intermodal well cars back to Global 1

after Rob's project which is now finished.

I'm going to move all these intermodal well cars
back into their positions at Global 1

Using the Global 1 switcher to do the job.

All the cars are behind the switcher and ready to
be backed into Global 1

Almost ready to back up the first section into place.

As soon as we pull the back of this train through the
yard we'll be able to back up the train into Global 1
Track 5

Before we do that, we need
to drop of the car with the EOTD

This is the back section of the train in place on Track 5.

The next section is now in place on Track 4

finally all the sections are fully
in their positions at Global 1

One more view of the entire fleet.

I'm going to mark down 1 hour for this project.

Up early to clean up the workbench

With Rob's Intermodal Project finished, I need to
tidy up the workbench.

Much better wouldn't you say?

Train Day!

w/Rob Fair 6:30-8pm 1.5 hrs.

Jordan Osborn 6:15-7:15pm 1 hr.

Marcus Thorsen 6:30-7:15pm .75 hrs.

Putting away the Unit Coal Train 2A

at Melrose Park Power Plant

Mainline Power back at the CNW Engine Facility
for maintenance.

Coal loads all tucked away at the
Melrose Park Power Plant

Coal is already unloaded and ready for another
return trip to the Powder River Basin for more coal

Left of the Bridge Project Finished!

Beyond the wall I planted some trees.

While I was at it, I planted a few more on the other
side of the street.

Then I filled them in to make it look "full".

Total time tonight, .75 hrs.

Up early to prep the pink areas by painting a green base color.

Painted and ready for grass.

That took about 20 minutes.

Came back later to spread the grass.

Cleaned it up.

Now it's time to run Priority Train #3
Commuter Train 1A

We take two laps without stops.

That whole session took 1 hr. 16 mins.

The Commuter Train 1A made it to Harvard
on the Metra Northwest Line.

Adding safety lines to the roads.

The lines don't stay down by the adhesive, so I add
Elmer's glue to cover and hopefully keep in place.

Added more safety lines to the road which leads
to Uptown.

Using glue to keep those lines down too.

Time to run Priority Train #2
Mixed Freight Train 5B WB

I'll be using Power C2 as you can see in this photo.

And I'll be using Clipboard 2B as also shown in
the photo above this one.

Pulling out the light power for Mixed Freight 5B

Dropping off the caboose at the end of the yard.

After putting the train together, I reattach the caboose
to the rear of the train.
