I came home for lunch today during subbing at STC East HS...

I organized the power waiting work at the workbench

I found it was hard to work on the engines and leave
all their parts all over the workbench.

So now, each locomotive will have it's own box
and all the parts for that particular loco will be in that box.

Problem solved!

Also, Diane McMillan (aka "Fifi" was visiting Jan) and both of them came to see the RR...

Trying to make Locomotive #151 to make sound and respond to movement.

I pulled it down from the shelf.

Removed the shell to expose the "guts".

What in the world is this?
It's a capacitor connected to the decoder and ?

I wish I knew more about how these things work and get along...

I did reset the decoder and got it working again.

Here's a video for proof...

  1. Super videos last few days. All looks so realistic and can't believe how complicated with the card system and your notebooks with all the codes. Well done bro
