assignments - personnel & cars.

Train Day!

Just me today.

Rob & Jordan were both busy.

6-7pm 1 hr.

LOOK WHAT THE MAILMAN BROUGHT TODAY!

Those white bases have got to go...

Checking on all the parts making sure everything is
in good working order.

First order of business was to paint the white bases black.
Isn't that a lot better?

Now to check that each light works.
So far so good...

Tomorrow I will have them all connected and take
a picture for you.

I wired up all the signal lights to make sure they illuminate.

I need to figure out why some are red and some green.

I like the way it looks.
You never know when you purchase an item sight unseen.
But, this time, it is a good thing.

We figured out how to make the mainline switch
turn red incase there's a train in the block ahead
like there is in this photo of the unit coal train
sitting in the block just ahead of the signal

Finishing up the week...

Mounting the signal switches at CCT
(Central Control Tower)

All the tools needed to get the job done.

I need to add some labels.
Tomorrow I will use the church label maker
to produce these labels.
