This Week's Goal Planning
1. Finish work on Chicago Terminal Engine Maintenance Shop
This Week: Almost finished. Still need to fix the lights (pulsating) and adding pipes.

2. Continue work on Clinton Ave. wall sections
This Week: Fix the clogged paint can then continue fitting the wall sections and then paint and put in place.
3. More Work with Locomotives
This Week: One more try to get this to work.
4. Laying more "asphalt" in the Industrial Park
This Week: Remove this from the list. Other pressing matters.
5. Finish work on the upper/lower downtown area Melrose Park
This Week: Do a little more work on the new road/bridge underpass.

Train Day!

| Still trying to get the GP50 #53 up and running. Not very successful. |

| Rob finished installing all the guards on the ground throws. Now it's time to paint them. We used black finger nail polish. It worked great! |

| I got the locomotive running and the headlight on so I thought I'd put the shell back on a give it a whirl. The light works, but it doesn't run. UGH! |

| I'll need to add the number board so the light doesn't bleed out like it does now. |

| I also filled in the incline where the commuter cars would decouple. Hopefully this slap of "asphalt" will take care of the problem. |

Just a little progress.
Let me tell you what I tried to do...

| I tested each train consist with Locomotive F40PH #151. They all pass the new elevation with flying colors. |

| I also tried to get the GP50 #53 running again. It ran fine with the shell off, but as soon as I put the shell back on it would not run. I'm pretty sure there are wires in the way that bind the flywheels and keep them from turning. I'm going to keep trying until we get this right!!! |

Next Week: Finish painting and installing the Lake Street and Clinton Street wall sections.

Next Week: Try to figure out how to get the two DCC engines running with the shell on and no "extra" sounds.
