Waiting for glue to dry holding down the "pipes".

While I'm waiting I decided to continue on the
Clinton Ave. Chicago Terminal perimeter walls.

Putting the end walls together...piece by piece.

Painting the "windows".

Walls all set and ready for painting.

Walls in place and connected to previous wall.

Engine Facility at Chicago Terminal complete.

Another view.

I took a trip out to the Powder River Basin to get some work  done...

I didn't like the way this ground throw switch was between the
tracks, so I'm going to change it to work from the other side.

I flipped the switch over and attached a piece of plastic under
the throw bar.

Then I installed the ground throw on the other side.
Perfect!

Another project completed!

Train Day!
with Rob Fair & Jordan Osborn
6-8pm 2 hrs.

First order of business tonight will be to adjust this wall.

Jordan Osborn is getting ready to
take some notes. "Now which pen
should I use?" asks Jordan.

A rare photo of owner/operator,
Curt Berg, looking down "the wall."

Rob Fair re-drilling the hole after
repositioning the wall.

The rest of the evening we'll be placing the staples near the
ground throw switch stands.

An amazing find.
Rob Fair accidently hit one of the switch stand pieces and sent
it flying. Jordan found it on the other side of Proviso Yard.

Rob Fair takes the part Jordan found and tries to repair the
wounded ground throw.

Jordan Osborn reviews some of the notes and makes a new
list of projects we need to tackle before our next Train Show!

Our last order of business was to add the lights to the engine
shop at Chicago Terminal. You can see them illuminated here
before we put the canopy back in place.

For some strange reason, the lights were flickering as they stayed on.
This week I'm going to rewire them to a different light source and try again.
