Train Day!
with Rob Fair 6-8 pm 2 hrs.
Rob Fair and I will be working under the layout tonight.

We're going to try to make sense of all this mess.

Yep, this too!

Here's what we did!
We wired up the street lights on Fulton St. and Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago North.

And here's what it looks like under the table at our electronics board.
Two of our lights didn't work, so next week we'll resolder them and fix the problem.

Mom and Dad visited and I gave them a light show.

Jordan Osborn cameo appearance
Dean Hatzis came with bridge sections all glued together and ready for installation.

Jordan Osborn stopped by for a few minutes.

See ya later!

Looking good!

Straight on view.

On to the cut outs...

Break time!
Hugging the pole after breaking a sweat!

There you go!
The opening is cut out.
Also note the control tower has been cut out and the building put in place.

Here's a look from the back side.

And a bit more to the right...

Our parting shot!
This will be Dean's last official visit until he returns in the fall.
Dean will come by another day to check dimensions of the Metra Commuter Coach Yard terminal he'll be working on at home.

Jordan and I went to B&G today and bought some much needed items...

Emphasis on "some" - not all were much needed...
The main items I bought today was the Urban Retaining Walls for the section at Chicago North at the corner of Fulton and Clinton Streets.

Here are the mock ups in place.

This is the prototype aerial photo of what I'll be modeling.

And here's a rough idea of the space I'll be working with to make it similar.
