I cut out the black tarp paper to use as the base for the downtown area above Chicago Terminal Union Station. The piece I cut out is under the hardboard in the background. |

Then we use Gorilla Glue to secure the foam board to the base. |

You don't see it here, but we also glued down the "asphalt" layer as well. As soon as I clear off the weights I'll take a picture of the "asphalt" layer for you to see. |

While I cut out the footprints at Melrose Park, Jordan Osborn and Josh Jones ran the CNW SD38-2 engines leading a mixed freight. No problems. |
