Week 121

Week 121
Sunday, November 20, 2016 through Saturday, November 26, 2016
Thanksgiving Week

I started off the week on Sunday, going to Valley Model Railroad Open House in South Elgin with Rob & Connor Linke

I love those yards.
This is their staging yard looking from the front.

Then I walked around the layout and took this shot of the three tiers.

On the other side of the layout is the back of the staging yard.
The top picture was taken where the man with the jacket with red trim is standing.
I got lucky and captured the EOT devise in its blink.
See the little white spot on the back of one of those box cars?
When I got home I worked on labels for the switch machines at the control tower.
Here are all the labels cut out and ready to install.

A bird's eye view of the labels getting started...

Same shot with the labels all in place.

Also labeled the crossovers.
This should help Josh and Jordan when we need to switch the crossovers.
Sometimes they say the black or blue and I forget which is which.

Also, crossovers 3 & 4.

Labels for "B" section.
