TRAIN DAY!

Present: Jordan, Dean, Carlos & Curt
Absent: Ed & Josh
Monday: Rob

Started off in heated discussion on what to do about roads, sidewalks, and building foundations.
More on that later..

For now, here's what else we did...

We had some apparent drop in voltage as our favorite dash9 would stall.
Carlos Baez makes some keen observations.

Jordan Osborn running the test engines as Carlos observed.

Dean Hatzis working to get Western Avenue back in shape.

Carlos Baez testing the track with various locomotives.

Carlos Baez has a volt meter to test the track.
He found only .01 difference between rails.
We figured the problem would be resolved once we convert to DCC.

 Dean Hatzis in demolition mode.
Dismantling Western Avenue and starting over.

 Gotta love those controls.
And Jordan Osborn knows how to control the tower.

I installed the light poles, but only two lights worked.
I will order new smaller ones this week.
These were too big and hit the window flaps of the engineer as the locomotive went by.

 Dean's work on Western Avenue.
Definitely a "work in progress".

Only thing left is the roadway in the middle of the track.

I decided to work on Kedzie Avenue this afernoon.
Check out these models with their appropriate prototype...
Distant track side.

 Near track side.

Bird's eye view.
