Train Day!

w/Rob Fair 5:30-7:30pm 2 hrs.

Jordan Osborn 5:30-7:30pm 2 hrs.

Jordan takes his place at the Control Tower.

I had big plans tonight...I was going to switch the
cars back to the Transfer Track at the Industrial Park
but none of the locomotives responded to Loco-Net.

So, we headed to the workbench to work on adding
a decoder to the last CNW SD40-2.

Rob removes the shell to get started.
We watched a 28 minute "How To" YouTube video

then we finished for the night and will tackle this
project again next week.

Trying to troubleshoot why the layout doesn't run

I got the layout to run...momentarily...but entirely...

I was able to run the UP B40-8 #1803 loco to pull
out the cars in the Industrial Park

My first pick up was at the
grain elevator
Portrait mode

Landscape mode

Then the two cars from the industries.

And the other two cars from the other two industries.

After those moves the layout quit working again.
