I've never seen anything like this before...

I am at the end of Pouley Rd. south in Elburn IL

Wait for it...

Whoa!
A single truck leading a train. Is this something new?

Heading west...

End of consist. No EOTD on back couple.
Nine cars - 1 gondola and 8 open hoppers.

Finishing up the Intermodal WB Train 2B.
Lots of derailment problems.

I'm going to clear Global 1 and put everything through an extensive inspection
with an overhaul maintenance & repair emphasis!

Using ML Crossovers to prepare to enter Global 1.

Using SW3 UP C44-9W #6280

Unloading all the containers.

Containers unloaded, returning empty well cars
to ML for removal to Workbench Inspection Station.

Moving last section of well cars to EB Track 2

Well cars ready to be moved off the layout.

Now to remove the remaining containers from Global 1

CLEAR!

Moving these stacks off layout to Workbench.

Containers now in place ready for inspection
at the workbench.

Global 1 and Mainline cleared of any containers
and/or well cars.

Everything ready for inspection at the workbench.

I also did a thorough exam of the mainline over the
entire layout looking for any stray intermodal parts.

I did find a few grab irons.

I also noticed how much debris has collected on the layout.

Mouse dropping, insects in sacks ready for the next meal.

This will be my goal next week:

Clean off all the debris accumulated on the layout over the years.
